Hate to do this but im in need of some help

So as alot of you know my Gf was diagnose with cancer and its been rough and a down hill slope from there. Now with my car crapping out its worse. Then i thought ii had a loan to get a second car wich is out of the picture and on top of that now pops up back taxes and more medical bills. So i started a gofundme page to try and help. All i really need is 1000 so i can buy a car. So if you could spare anything towards that goal even .50 its helpful and if you cant please share the page because im a desperate man and i hate taking charity but its come to where its that or lose it all. I dont know what else to do because ive exhausted options. I really feel bad for asking you all for help. I will try and help when and where i can for anyone that contributes because everything sucks this club and my girlfriend are what keep me going and my tanks getting low becase of the moodswings and 2 lost jobs during her battle. What ended up happening to the engine in your WRX? Maybe it would be cheaper to fix it or find one to swap in?

Its a timing belt and 3k i need the 1000 for a car until its fixed i cant nickle and dime and lose another job over a cheap beater.

 

The heads are not the main issue its labor and time. Im about to have world war 8 here in the am and each day after is 3000 times worse. I got some bad bealt news and her flipping out makes it worse. Thanks for trying but i put 400+ miles on in 3-4 days i cant risk picking used parts up. Then add my comute into that and could be here again or worse. If i buy the 1000 forester i have a car if i breakdown and Jm auto will rebuild my 04 when things are a bit better. I appreciate it but my only answer is another car.

 

Sorry to sound like a asshole but its been rough. @tangledupinblu had to come pick me up lastweekend and i was in rough shape and that was one dsy of it. The last 3 months have worn me down and its almost to the point where i just say **** it and leave everything with her. I cannot afford to lose this job once i take it because she needs to quit hers and then i loose the house. I appologize but my cousin just tried to offer me 500 for my 04. I should not have posted asking you guys. Unless your in my shoes you cant imagine this rage she has. She cant get enough rest after 4.5 hours on a bus and 8 working and dose it 5 days a week. Close it up if you want i regret asking any how

 

I think at this point you may want to consider something other than a beater subaru. They're not always known for long-term reliability. Something like a cheap civic on the other hand can be fixed with a rubber band and some hardware store bolts.

additionally, you may have to consider selling the WRX. As it stands you can likely get 3 or more thousand bucks as it sits right now, which would free up a little bit of cash for said beater. It's probably not the attractive option, but it may make the best sense right now.

 

Selling is not a option done the civic thing and they nickled a d dimed me. There is no option of selling this. Its the only thing i own. Also its the last car my friend and i worked on. Just close it up. Gonna go beg her mom for it again yay get to listen to how bad i am and yet she never showed once through this ordeal. Pleas lock this down. I have not one person that i consider family but my friend and this car is all i got left.

 

Joe, throwing a fit over people trying to offer advice isn't going to help your cause. I understand where you're coming from, but we can't just solve this for you. The advice is coming from people trying to help. I get that you're in a rough spot, and you don't HAVE to take anyone's advice, but that's all it is. Suggestions, advice, and options. Worst case scenario, you're in the same spot now, best case scenario someone throws an idea out there that may work for you.

I can't help but think that a 1000 dollar subaru is going to nickle and dime you far worse than another cheap option.

 

Thats not why just close it. I get your trying to help but today has been the straw that broke the camels bsck and i regret asking because i knew it would end with me going to beg her mom. Not 1cent from my own family not one offer of help from them. Sorry i just want it locked uo because im on my way to her moms already. That forester is only vheicle that i can get to without asking for a ride somewhere i need to stop her stress or she will end up in icu. Thats why its my only option

 

3 months of being a piece of crap for cooking dinner and worse than that just cant do one more day of fighting is all.

I didnt mean to sound the way i did but from the first day i got this car all i hear is sell sell sell. Then its a 2 dollar fix and they want a ride from you. It was just the last time before i had to rage about it. My appologies i try and keep fairly calm as i can but today was not able to.

Closed it down. Things are now more of a pain. Now i get to deal with a drunk ex husband. Things just wont quit. But bright side is getting car today and that makes me less punchy. So there is a brighter side of today.
