My bro has a toyota t-100 and his winshield (front) is pretty much done. We will be looking for another one soon and might do the installation ourselves. I just have a few questions

What kind of tools do you need?
How long would the job take?
Any helpful websites to go to for instructions?

    Thanks

    1) the only tool you "need" is this: http://www.northerntool.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_6970_200334173_200334173

adjustable heat gun or hot day can help. You might also want some leather/mechanics gloves.

2)if the windshield is already wrecked, and you don't care about it. 30 minutes.

    3) all you do is stick the blade under the windshield and into the adhesive. then pull and try to stay level. Why do you need a website?

Ya you need a tool as posted above and about 1.5 tubes of windsheild urathane, preferably 3M. Its not rocket science. There's usually tabs on the bottom the rest the glass agaist when you seal the new one in. Also, you need to cut the urathane tube so it dispenses it properly. Trim the old stuff off the car, but you don't have to completely clean it off. New urathane will bond to cured urathane, unlike silicone.
