Hey sup guys its been awhile. Couple of updates to the ones who are wondering, no I still don't have a Subaru yet and no I don't work at the dealership anymore. Now on to the question I have. A group of friends and I have rented a beach house next week on Manhattan Beach. We are looking to do some fishing off the pier and possibly rent a charter boat. Is any of my fresh water tackle any good to bring with me? Is there a rental for fishing tackle? (I don't want to have to spend $200 bucks just on fishing tackle) I've searched but haven't really found anything on the fishing pole rentals.
I used to live in Southern California and I used mostly freshwater tackle when I went out. If anything you want a nice heavy line (20lb+ test). As for deep water on the ocean not sure, never done it myself. Have fun!
