Headlights need painted

    Looking to get some morette headlights painted. Is anyone having any body and paint work done. My paint will be psm and flat black. Screenshot_2015-12-17-18-55-27.png

    Rattle can of PSM from GrimmSpeed or NAPA. $14 at GS and about $24 at NAPA. Flat black is like $6/can.

    Get the good 2 part primer along with the PSM with clear from NAPA and you'll get a fantastic looking finish on the cheap!

    I would do that if absolutely necessary. But I don't have a nice warm place to paint. I could set something up in the shed but... Not ideal.

    How'd you fit the big scoop to the bugeye hood?

    That's not my car.that's a picture of how I want my lights painted. But you can get cheap ones on ebay. Jdm ones every now and then.

    Ah. Alright. Just noticed its the '04/'05 style scoop but on a bugeye front end. I found out the hard way that the two hoods have a different hole size. Curious to see how that works.

    Anywho, best of luck on your paint project. I was in a body shop the last 4 years and have a decent amount of paint experience. Currently at a cabinet shop but we do have a little paint booth on site. If you don't come up with anything maybe I could be of assistance somehow.

    They made a carbon fiber one(seibon i believe) for the bugeye based off of the 04 STi scoop. Probably color matched.

    Getting the black paint on the headlights now. Soon to do the PSM abit later tonight.
