last month, I bought my first subaru: a 256k miles 99 forester for 2 grand, and I really love it. because of that forester, last week, I bought a 115k miles 95 impreza for a grand. for that price, of course it has issues: - intermittent warm starting problem. I was told this is due to bad crank positioning sensor. I replaced that, but problem is still there. So, I'll be changing the cam positioning sensor next -bad bearing -wobbly shifter. I know this must be due to the bad shifter bushings. I couldn't find 95 impreza bushing anywhere. most of them sells 98 and up. Do 95 and 98 share the same bushing/tranny? -the usual subaru rust, leaving the rear bumper hanging. not sure how to fix that, but i don't thing bondo would do. - when turning at tight turn, the car kinda in resistance, as if somebody push on brake. other than that, I love the car. though i have 2 subarus, I'm still newbie, and hope you guys can help me. I think it's gonna be a good summer project.
