I figured it's about time I introduce myself My name's matt, I'm a Senior at Orono High School, and I love the old 4WD subies I have been driving my dad's (now mine, soon to be for sale) '92 loyale, and haveing a great time with it, but the 3 speed automatic was just irritating the hell out of me, so I bought an '85 GL Wagon, almost identical except the drivetrain, 5 speed manual tranny, Dual Range 4WD, and carbeurated, instead of Throttle Body Injected. Here's the Loyale after screwing around in a friends yard, I think the pic is pretty self explanatory. Well, as you've all noticed, Matt is a common name, that's where Chux came from, and now my friends use it more than Matt, so you're all welcome to aswell, as long as you don't call me "#3"
Welcome Matt, I have a related "GL in the ditch story..." Sold off and old '84 GL wagon to a young man. After he put it into the ditch for the third time he asked me, "How do you do E-brake turns?" At that time I advised him, "Ah, the parking brake is in the front wheels!" "Oh, (long silence)"
