Hello again MNSUBARU! It's me again with another intro. So, I've since sold my beloved Wagon that I loved and cherished every moment of. Drove this thing cross country, race tracks (although I never raced it), car meets, and numerous road trips, this car had never let me down. I made sure she went to the rightful owner that would enjoy her as much as I did. Since then, I've now purchased my dream car that I've been wishing to own ever since it came out in 2004! The opportunity came where a buddy of mine was gauging interest in selling his 2005 STi!? The first time I heard of such idea, I knew it had to be mine! Four months later SHE IS NOW HOME. Since I purchased here 3 weeks ago, I've done a lot of maintenance, those who aren't familiar with these cars wouldn't know of. Such things including new oil change (every 1k miles for break-in period for short block), new tires, alignment, and a fresh Stage1 tune at N Performance. My buddy ran into ringland issues so he replaced all pistons, brand new short block, brand new turbo, with all hose, belts, and whistles replaced, all that was left was a tune. I've also purchase little items, here and there, until Spring before any big purchases. Such things include Grimmspeed radiator shroud, metal shift knob, Prosport boost gauge, AEM A/F wideband gauge, cluster gauge pod, Roof rack, Perrin inlet hose, Perrin rear wing stabilizers, and brand new winter tires. I am loving every moment of my dream car! It's still hasn't hit me yet that I'm driving this beast! More plans and more ideas are yet to come but this is the update up to today. Thanks for dropping by and enjoying my new, to me, 2005 Subaru WRX STi. I'll do my best to update my progress with my car....that's if I'm not out enjoying it of coarse....haha
holy beautiful blog eye batman! Two thumbs up. It was my dream car too but settled for a 04 wrx wagon.
Thanks!! I too just settled with my wagon. But it was always in back of my mind, thinking "should've just bought an STi!" Two and a half years later, here she is!
Thanks STiCH! Yeah, it's been a while. I've always been around. Just not posting as my wagon needed nothing but oil changes here and there.
Installed my Kartboy short shifter today. I'm loving the short throws and the shorter look! Took about an hour and a half of install time (stupid pin!!). Also traded back my Cobb shift knob from my old wagon. Fail as it's specified for 5MT version and not for my 6MT. I do have one ordered so this one will be for sale once the correct one comes in. Till then, this is how it sits.
