Hi im new to subarus. I just bought a 95 impreza 2door on friday. its in really rough shape... Im still finding problems! the biggest is that it is RWD... the guy i got it from told me all it would take is putting the cv axles back in. so hopefully thats true and i can find some for cheep! well thats my subaru story I will try and get some pics up if i can figure it out... so you subaruer can tell me whats up!

welcome! and i too would be a little concerned about what he did to make this "rwd"? did he bust up a shaft or just remove them to do..?
yeah... idk what to think about the tranny. I wont know until i put in the front axles. He told me that the axles were bad so he just took them out. idk about that! the car has no power! is that because it has no power or am i loosing some to the front? thanks for the welcomes!
Oh just found some more broken parts... the a/c isnt conected and the heat selector nob is stuck on defrost! any ideas how to fix that? also the temp gage is broken... it idles really ruff alot of plugs and hoses on the engine are not connected.
the worry i have is how did he plug where the cv axles go? and the heat selector you may just have to pull apart the dash and see if something is loose or disconnected. And i hope you got a HELLA deal on this car. and with the plugs just find a buddy that has the same year and look at his then yours and put the puzzle back together.
The problem with the plugs and hoses is that the engine in there is from a 91 or 92 legacy 2.2.... so should i look at that car or the impreza?
