Help! 04 wrx rear diff

    Rear diff seized up :/ Anyone out there got a rear diff for an 04 wrx in good shape for sale? They are thinkin $500-600 to install, that sound right?

    Looks like I have a diff lined up from @ScoobySnack . Anyone think $500 is steep to swap out a diff?

    They ended up quoting $300 which is a bit better but thanks to the input @idget.

    $300 is more reasonable. Figure 3 hours tops (even if using the dealership procedure) plus $50 for fluid disposal and fill.

    No more than $50. I've seen anywhere from $15-50. Chalk it up to overhead i suppose.
