The 17x8 black RPF1 wheels will look very small on the WRX. They did on mine anyways.

Well prices and styling aside the rpf1 is the best wheel there. I just got a set of 17x9 enkei kojin for my brz. They are a style similar to the asa wheels above.

I'm really into the Styling of the ASA wheels, they are like the Vossen CV3

But these seem to not have fitting for SUBARU and are expensive.

Anyone have information on the ASA brand are they ok wheels?

From what ive seen in my travels of the internet they are comparable to a rota style quality.

ASA is actually a division of BBS...I can't comment on the quality though. They would probably be fine if you are not racing.

Look into Team Dynamics pro-race 1.2. I have a set in matte black 18x9 and love them. There very well made and very strong!

I'm not against solid wheels, can afford mostly anything. Just don't wanna spend 500+ per wheel. Just looking for some options. These are on tire rack.

Also have to keep in mind this is Minnesota. So when if not if you bang one up how easy is it to get a new one.

to go back to my point of when not if on wrecking your rim. 18's will have less rubber to protect the rim. Tires are more expensive and imo 18's perform worse then 17's in curvy bits.

    1) Sizing

18x9.5 +38, 5x100 lug pattern is a common wheel-well filling fitment for the "wide body" '11+WRX's. Also an 18x9 +35 works well. Often the argument between 18 and 17 is weight and final gearing differences. Check NASIOC there is a thread on wheel/tire fitment for our ( i have a '13 wrx as well) cars thats hundreds of pages long.Guide to fitting wheels and tires to the 2011+ WRX

    2) Style

I like the basket weave/"tuning fork"old school BBS style as well.
I like these New for 5-100 Subies!! WedsSport SA-67R Circuit Black Edition
Obviously theres lots of choices and its finally up to you. Don't fall into the trap that many others do by worrying what others think looks good.

What do you mean? You don't understand sizing or you cant decide on a size?

On the GR chassis, I would definitely go for an 18" rim. If you are not racing the car, get an 8-8.5" wide rim. That will give you more options for offset and wont require you do roll your fenders or any other modifications.

Best bang for your buck is an Enkei rim, namely their Enkei Racing line.

17" vs 18" 8" wide, or 9.5" wide etc. Just not sure what offsets, whats best. Just a car thats a DD that isn't going to be changing much besides cosmetic.

9.5 is overly excessive for dd wheels. It will also require fender rolling

18x9 for sure. I had 17s on my 2012 and wish I would have had 18s.

Rim and tire selection can be overwhelming. I feel your pain. I like the way a 18in rim fits the wheel well looks wise. For me a 17 looks too small for the opening.

So, 18x9 would include or not include rolling fenders? :p and what offset is recommended then? I was leaning twards 17's because i have the stock rubber that came with the car. the current stock wheels have snow tires on them. So, I'll need something soon for spring (if it does ever show up...)

If you go with the stock STI rim size you can have 18 without modifications. I cant remember the width off hand.

They look like the Focus ST stock wheels.

Also OP you need to add another option to your poll. I vote 22" spinner rimzzzzzzzzz. The more rhinestones the better.

18x9.5 in +45 offset with 265 tires will fit just fine at stock height and not require rolling.

They weren't too bad price. I was gonna do rotas but it seems everybody and their brother has them so I chose at last minute and had to do flat black to go with my black car.
