Hey Guys, I usually don't like to share these "vote for this" posts, but this one is pretty good. If you could spare 30 seconds and like to ride bikes or like to see some good changes in your community, check out this link and vote for Cottage Grove... http://www.bellhelmets.com/bellbuilt Bell Helmets is going to donate $100,000 to our local biking community, Minnesota Off-Road Cyclists (MORC) to help complete a bike park in Cottage Grove, MN. We were in the lead just a couple days ago and are now trailing by less then 100 votes. Help get MN back on top! Thanks for your time everyone!
I voted! It's a close race between Cottage Grove and Chicagoland... I really need to get my mountain bike out on the trails more often and this would be a perfect excuse.
Thanks for Voting! Mountain biking is booming in MN right now. Lots of new stuff happening in Duluth. Lets keep it going. Spread the word.
To those of you who voted... Thank You! Cottage Grove is back in the lead! Keep the votes rolling so we can keep it that way!
Voting closes tomorrow. You can vote with different E-mails. So vote with you work E-mail but don't forget to confirm the vote also.
Last day to vote! Latest tally 10625 to 10619. Only behind by 6 votes. Come on MN can do it! I got a confirmation email almost immediately. Try clearing your cookies, reload the page and try your email again. Please vote with all emails. We are so close!
Thank you for that insightful and thorough review and for including the reasons for your less than optimal opinion of the results of this contest. (Hint: Why didn't you like it?)
We got there with 5-6 people and they shut down more than half of the trail "because there was too many people and we were going to fast while they were trying to work on it" the only upside was that all the jumps were tables, so there was no need to worry about not jumping far enough.
Really, Ryan? You're bent out of shape because they were working on the trail when you (princess) were trying to ride? Those people were doing hard work without pay so that freeloading princesses like you can ride. Me Me Me Now Now Now.
Compared to the hard work some of us actually pay to do at different trails, where we have to buy our own tools and any other things we want to use? Yea the trail paid for with grants should be ALOT better than it is. But I am just a vacuous child so what do I know?
How about instead of whining and bitching you join the volunteer group and make a difference. Free is free, if you don't like something help change it. You will look smarter trying to take action to change something rather than complain about how it is and not do anything. Unfortunately this is not a concept the younger generation understands.
Or I could just go back to the better unregulated jumps I've been working on and not waste my gas driving down there? **reading: something the older generation thinks the younger generation can't do.**
putting in effort to make something better instead of expecting everything to be handed to you: also something the older generation thinks the younger generation can't do. prove me wrong.
I had to Google "vacuous". In all my years on the planet I don't think I have ever seen that word in print. Good choice. Derp must have bought the Rosetta Stone "Learn Readymix" edition.
