If you push it in and it doesn't come back right? What about if you push it in but comes slowly up? HELP ME Yia
From what my brother told me, if you press your weight down on an edge of the car and it bounces more than twice-thrice before evening out, then your strut on that corner of the car is blown. When I changed out my springs on my old GC Impreza, the car drove fine over bumps. But when I had it taken off the car and the spring dissasembled off of it, I would apply pressure to the strut and it wouldn't decompress back out. Dead.[xx(] Still, it drove fine afterwards.
Fortunately those things are cheap to replace. I don't suggest replacing them singly though. Best to replace all four at the same time. If anything replace the pair on that axle. I've had mine on my car for a few years now and beat the hell out of them on rough gravel roads and never lost one. They also use them on club rally cars a lot because they're cheap to replace but they last several races usually. How old are those struts?
