Well, I had a car all lined up before I sold my Jeep to garage, but the s60 volvo I had my mind set on sold out from underneath me. Now garagealchemist is picking my jeep up on weds, and I need to find something nice (a car, with good mileage), to replace it. I feel it was the subaru world calling to me...buy a wrx. So, wagon or sedan, help me find one. I'm hoping to keep it under 10k, which is hard, I know. Mileage wise, the closer towards 100k we can keep it the better, but well maintained trumps higher miles. I want a wrx, turbo, a little bit more frame/weight for ride comfort, and less road noise. I've had an RS. I liked it, but I'm looking for something a little bit more substantial.
wow bullwinkle! you're quick. I know bill really well. I also know his car is 2.5k out of my price range from a conversation I've had with him. The other wrx's seem to be long gone, but that wagon of skids I'm raelly interested in. I just shot him a PM and will be calling him tomorrow to set up a drive hopefully. **in all honesty, a wagon is probably the best for me. I need the space, etc. The sedan would simply be bought for the "cool" factor."

uh oh, competition. Lol, just messin with you. I'm also looking at VW GTI's. I just need something with good MPG and with enough room for sea bags and a couple of buddies, or a buddy and some boards. I have a bulletbox for the top of anything I buy, so space isnt a HUGE concern, but a niceity.

dman, you're a good guy. I appreciate the help. I replied to your pm, but what I need to do is get ahold of skid and figure it all out today. I'll grab his # from his for sale ad and just give him a buzz during the day. Maybe I can meet him somewhere around lunch, ha. Poor guy is probably tired of showing it and letting people test drive his baby. I wouldn't be surprised if Scid's wagon is sold, that was a hell of a deal for a nice ass wagon, but if it isn't sold yet, and I didn't have a car I would be all over it like no ones business, competition doesn't matter if you are gonna buy a car you want. You just fight for it.

pulled the loan for skids car today, and am picking it up tomorrow morning if that works out for scid. Hopefully I will be the new owner of that vehicle tomorrow by noon.
