Help Please Quick!

Im doing all the breaks in the legacy and i need to know what size that nut is to take off the rear rotars! Someones is comming by to bring me to the store and i need to know what size socke to get! THANKS

96 legacy l wagon!

 

19 to get the wheels off, and probably a 14 to take the caliper off.

 

Get a metric set that has the following sizes:

8, 10, 12, 14, 17, and 19. About 99% of the normal bolts on a Subaru are this size. The caliper bolts on mine are 12mm. The bracket bolts (sometimes you need to loosen them up to get the rotor off) are either 14 or 17mm. The bleeder valve is an 8mm.

 

I got all that. i need the socket size to get the whole rotar off!! That big nut in the center off the rotar

 

axle nut?

i think its 32mm?

someone can correct me

 

F!@!!!!! I am a TOTAL NOOB!!! ITs easier to get the rotar off if the e-brake isn't set!! LOL

I was wondering why you would take the big nut off when it has nothing to do with the rotor staying on?!?!?!?

32mm is right, 3/4 works too i think.

 

1-1/4" works pretty well, 3/4" not so much, unless you are talking about 3/4" drive, which works great.
