I work as the Operations Supervisor at Chowgirls Catering. We are currently looking to fill some part time positions in the kitchen for both cooks and prep people. If you have any experience please email me or stop by the kitchen with your resume. Note: Some part time positions have the possibility of turning into full time positions. Must have some cooking experience aside from cooking at home. A little about Chowgirls. The company was a collaboration between the two owners to be the first catering company that specialized in using Organic and Sustainable food sources. Chowgirls has won different awards from Minnesota Bride Magazine since 2008 for Best Caterer under 100 people and Best "Green" Caterer. As well as an award in 2010 from Minnesota Monthly as the People Choice for Best Caterer. The main comment I ever hear from people is about how much they enjoyed our food at so and so's event. Thanks, Scotty [email protected]
Typically during the week our cooks work the morning shifts to get food out for the day and the prep work the afternoon. They do a stagered start between 3am-10am and then the prep people typically start between 9 and noon. As far as hours per day kinda of thing, Once you get your list done your able to leave usually. Weekends are a little different since they are the busier time for us. Don't quote me on this but I'm guessing it would be 3-5 days a week depending on your strengths and weaknesses.
I've got a friend and business partners wife who would be very interested and qualified for something like this... I've passed along your information to her. I'm sure you will be hearing from her shortly (her name is Tracy).
I have a couple guys that may be interested in helping out. They are currently on 2nd shift, but I am sure you you could work something out with their availability. PM me your number and I will have them give you a call. -Matt
