HELP with cell phone....

I am with T-mobile, but I want a phone with Cingular’s service. I’m not sure if Cingular uses a SIM card……..and if it does, can I use the Phone with T-mobile service. I heard somewhere that you can bypass that stuff by doing something.................anyone know about this?

you can take it to world of wireless ( www.worldofwireless.com ) and they can unlock it for you depending on the phone. Usually they can do it for like $50-60.

 

How long have you been with T-mobile? If you been with them a while they will unlock it for you for free. You just have to call them and they will send you the instruction (via. email) in how to unlock your phone.

i've been with t-mobile since they were Voicestream, Aerial communications.......8 years. damn!!!

unlocked a slvr about a month ago online for $20, cant remember where though.

 

you can usually get good deals on ebay or just google it. I send most people to world of wireless. I've even had a few unlocked there. I'd try Tmobe first though and see if they'll do it for free... then come see josh or me for some new service :biggrin: .

 

Yeah try t-mobile first. Tell them you need it for travaling abroad.

 

I work for cingular... and it's amazing how many people are switching over because they want the i-phone.

plan on an insain campout come june 15th.... because it'll be a bit before you see one after that.

unless you want a differnt phone. then, awsome.

 

Its not being released June 15. The official release date hasn't been disclosed as of yet.
