I have a Gas dryer which crapped out (came with the house when we bought it).

Now I want to switch to an Electric dryer

Anything to do, to look out for?

I'm not gonna do anything until I know what I should be touching.

Is the wiring there for an electric? (30A 220v outlet, 3 or 4 prong) If so, then you just buy an electric...

If not, then you either run the wiring and buy and electric or buy another gas. You can't expect to change over the 110v 15a (or maybe 20a) that's running the gas dryer to use with the 220v 30a the electric will need.
