This was on a vehicle in Farmington, which is not the county in which it patrols.

Looks at least 20% front and 1-5% in back. Funny how they want to pull me over when I had 35% and now that I have 50% it barely looks like any tint at all.

Yep, K9 unit. You can get a prescription for bad eyes, they can get it to keep the dogs from baking in the sun. Non-story.

He probably lives there. K-9 Officers take their dogs home with them, and they're given a squad to do it in. SUVs have different tint laws anyway, that rear tint may even be factory.

I got pulled over for my 35% tint by Eagan's Dodge Charger which is totally blacked out.

He told me "I know it looks cool and everything, but the highway patrol are really looking for window tint and it's at least a $100 fine. So you may want to get it fixed before one of those guys pull you over!" and he let me go  ... That was a little over 2 years ago.

Absolutely agreed about the K9 Unit. But the front seat????? What about our kids in the back seat? Actually, all police vehicles are exempt....truth be told. And I agree 20 in the front and 1-5 on the rear!

That SUV would look mean in flat black and without the clip-on wheel weights.

There's a murdered out undercover Denali in my area that looks mean as hell. It looks like a pro-athlete's car until the taillights and grille light up red and blue!

I had 18 front and rear and that's a heck of a lot darker than that... Oh and I got a nice citation for it too. ; )

not only is it a k-9 unit. but its also an suv, which means you can have darker tint.
