Welcome, I actually lived in Chicago after I graduated from college and ended up moving back up here about 3 years ago. Very active Subaru community up here and plenty of cool people. Is 6 star still in business? Hopefully they are doing better than DS1...
6 star is rocking Sammy and the crew are doing amazing work. They are the only ones who I let touch my car. They are building my engine now and working on the plans to swap a spec.b 6 speed into my legacy.
Remember, most of the pizza here sucks. Hit me up if you want to go get some real pie. I am born/raised in Chicago, so I'm sure I know what kind you like. I hate to say it, DS1 bailed me out of SO many issues I had. Many many times they showed up to the shop to let me dig through their pile of stock parts. Sucks about the fallout with all of them.
