Im new here, hopefully buying a legacy gt in the next couple days. Quick question on legacy gt's though, does anyone know of any excessive noise with their transmissions? or any problems in general? any help would be great. thanks

'05 LGT owner here. The manual is a bit noisey - 1st whines a bit and 2nd whines nicely. It's normal. I was also concerned about it when I bought the (used) car, but the brain trust at legacygt.com eased my mind.

Turbo's, turbo's, and more turbos, if the oil was not changed on a regular basis. As in every 3K-4K miles.

I bought mine (05 LGT, 5 EAT) sight unseen a couple of years ago. It had 17k miles on it and now has a little over 40k. No problems at all...well, there was the back seat cupholder I had replaced under warranty;)...but mechanically mine has been perfect.
Thats with me running it at a stage one from the get go, stage 2 since last year and an open ECU tune by Bullwinkle since early spring. I change the oil and diff fluid when your'e supposed to.
