Hey, new to the boards, check out my car.

Hello, my name is Ryan and live in brainerd, MN. My car is a 95 impreza l that i put a 94 wrx motor and tranny in to. my swap has been running good for three years now, with minor boost issues, which i fixed this spring and now it is running very strong . very few mods on it intake, exhaust, fmic, and a vf28 bb turbo, here's a couple of pics;

hey wussup Ryan looks like you and i are the only one so far in this club that has a similar swap....how much are you boosting?and where did you find your FMIC and for how much?

i am running about 14 psi max, usually 13-14 depending on weather conditions, i got the frount mount of of ebay, yeah i know but i didn't have alot of money, it was a couple hundred bucks, it is a pretty good one though, only about a .2 psi pressure drop.

 

did it come with piping too if so did u have to do any kind of moding??

it didn't come with the piping, i bought a universal piping kit and one of my friends helped with all the bend and welds. i had to do some mods being the motor being a 94 it had the 90 degree turbo inlet and the sti turbo i got was the staight inlet so we had to do a little custom work to make the turbo work, it turned out very clean though. the piping itself wasn't that expensive, i have about 400 in the whole fmic setup (it helps out if you know someone who is a good welder)

i am not sure where firstone is, actually never heard of it, i live up in brainerd, about 2 to 3 hours from the cities. i will be at the rally up in bemidji this weekend though.

hey guys, thanks for the welcome, i would love to come down and check out everyones car's down there, but it is quite a drive down there about 3 hours or so. it's lonely up here, nobody has subarus up here
