If i put an hid kit in my 07 foz x, would i need to aim them at all if its a plug and play system?

 

Does it come with all new housings with projectors built in?

If so, you'd most likely have to aim/adjust them at least a little since they've never been in your vehicle before.

If not, then get some retrofit projectors to go with it.

 

Don't waste your time with HID, get LED. So much brighter and plug and play.

 

@Terry Ammerman would i have to aim them if i just had stock halogen housings and got led plug and play bulbs? also with that being said, what are your thoughts on opt7 led kits?

 

I have LED in my stock housings. No aiming issues, never been flashed at night. So much better than the HIDS I replaced them with.

 

Are those in projector housings?

 

No, stock bugeye housings.

 

What LEDs did you purchase? HIDs were going to be my next mod, but you make the LEDs sound easy.

Good call. The Mini D2S is a great product, and the high beams are amazing. Used them in my rally car.

 

The 4.0 came out recently as well. Looks like a decent upgrade even compared to the 3.0 version. Looking forward to getting these retrofitted.
