High Horsepower Subies in MN?

Just curious how many 400+ whp Subaru's we have in MN.

 

Do they have to run??

Rich should be at 600 very soon, his kit is getting ceramic coated then it's game time!

 

I'm not nearly responsible enough to own a car with that much power. :laugh:

between my 2 subies, i might have 400 whp. yeah, lets go with that.

 

There has to be more than just 2-3.

 

There are a few people on this board who do, and there are a few who are not members of this site. Why do you ask?

 

Curiousity, I see quite a few EVO's and the like over 400. I was really just curious to see what/how many Subies we have in that range.

lol, my 2 combined aren't even near it.... but yea theres a small handful of 400+'s

 

ditto. i got more speeding tickets in my 87 wagon than any other car since.

 

my response to this, my friends EVO made 425HP last weekend on a FP red @ 34psi. my car made 400 @ 23 psi threw an auto. Granted the turbos are diffrent but thats an 11 psi difference. LOL

 

But yours also has that totally mega sweet custom everything. :laugh:

 

1. i plan on making 900- 1000whp but i wont be up tell next spring
2. dip should be at 550-600whp if his trans would hold power. made 400 and it just slips.
3.Evan will have 450-550whp on stock block in about a month for testing then make more when he builds is. should be 600-700ish when done
4. Bee will have the same as Evan and that will be up in about a month or so.
5. rich should be up and running by next week. should make 650- 800whp depending on how we push it.
6.aj should have the same as rich and should be up and running in a month or so.
7.ron at rs built a white rs that is at 450whp right now and should make 650-700whp when they get the fuel pump issue worked out.
8.pete should be at 450-500whp in about a week.
9. kasal shold be back at 500whp when he gets his block back together
10. readymix should be at 500whp if he ever gets rid of his crappy resistor packs
11. tdagen should make 400-450whp when he finishes his build
12.devildevil made 500somthing last year i think?

mine would be at giggetygooby hp if I gave a crap about modifying it...


I will wait and build my other project then go buy a real muscle car... ha ha maybe a rat rod or something

 

I'm sure there are alot of them, usually they don't like to show off.

 

when it comes out for this year i should make 550 area at the wheels is my guess(seen similar setups make plenty more then this but i am just low balling so i dont let myself down). i will be bored with it soon after that tho so i will start the next setup when this one runs for this summer... it is purely my "toy" now and i have a few ideas for what will come next setup

 

I have a friend that was at just over 500whp in his 05 STi that was from up north, car is now back to stock


Then I know of a couple up in the Fargo Area that should make some very nice numbers when they finally get them done.

yep he made 480whp i think. thought of him after i posted and was out to dinner. plus Dericks legy should do 450+ along with piddsters autox setup might break 400ish

Bikerboy's blue swapped GC has a 20G on it.



If I make a tune on race gas, I could make 400. If I jack my fuel pressure I could possibly run corn. We'll see.

 

Isn't there at least one person in MN running the H6 turboed?

 

I know a guy that knows this other guy that has a friend that has a friend whos cousin knows this one guy that heard of another guy that has this car whith 800 hp and couldnt hookup anywhere and his other friend knows this other guy, lol or something like that .....

Crazy power here! Wish I had the money to build mine up more. But i guess it all depends on what you want to do with your car. Whats everone on here doing with all that power is my question to? Drag Racing or just "I have more power than you" kinda thing? Either way props on the nice cars and motors on here!

A GT2871R 56 trim hardly qualifies as peaky turbo. I decided on that snail for its all-aroundness. Garrett rates it at 475, which is fine for a street car. I may switch to a variable geometry turbo though...

 

So let's see here.....2 out of 12 actually make power right now. The other 10 might, should or did.

You should add me to your list then. I should be at 500whp if I throw on a 35r.

hmmm. a year ago when i saw a wrb 04-05 at RS motors, APR wing, cs brake ducts, rotated mount, etc. i thought it was his. Asian guy who works there (sorry forgot name) told me it is 460ish whp. guess that's not bikerboys?
