hey my 05 rs (silencer has been removed from the air box, and i have a different muffler, but that is about it for mods) is idling at around 1300 rpm when i first start it up, then after i drive it for a while(about 5 min) it drops back down to around 600? causes, fixes, should i even be concerned?
no need for concern. It has been cooler out these days and when you first start the gar it will run at a higher idle. If you don't want it to do that when you first start you can quick do a quick rev to like 3-4k and let off and that will take it out of "fast idle" mode.
Mine does it everyday when I leave the garage at work...it's always 55 degrees in there. idles over 1000 until it warms back up
