last night I hit a dear on cty rd. 20 in andover. It damaged my driver side fender, hood and driver side headlight. I am thinking of replacing the hood with a carbon firber hood however I was wondering if I could get some input where I can get a good quality hood. I am also wondering how well carbon fiber holds up in the winter time and against any other types of weather. I don't want to have to replace it again in a year. Thanks in advance for all your input.

ebay always has hoods...quality might be good, fitment might be the only issue, carbon fiber hoods will last a long long time

    hit a dear

Where in Andover do you live?

I needed a new hood so I just got an oem one from the BP dealership. We get 20% off there so it was only like $460.00. I was going to get carbon fiber one but it seems like alot of people have problems with them warping and not fitting right.

I have a CF hood and Trunk. Fitment is gonna be the problem you almost always run in to. Mine fit alright but coud be better. If it was a show car I am sure I could fix it to have it lay flat, im just too lazy to ever getting around to doing it nor do I ever have a extra set of hands to help me hold it when I would try and fix it. I would say do it if you like the looks cause thats all its gonna do for you. The trunk is only way you can save weight.
