Waste. Of. Money. Better off selling it and getting a different color. Repainting a car because "you just gotta mess with something" is the most asinine way to piss away money. If you really just have to spend away 5 grand, you can buy me some new kitchen appliances. Both the appliances I intend to keep, and a paint job will be worth absolutely nothing to you when it comes time to sell the car.
If you want to paint it you should. I am a fan of flat colors. If i can ever stop modding it i might spend money on paint... But there are to many performance mods on my list right now. With that being said i would leave the white. I love white on that body style.
Paint?? add a little bling to the sides or some custom design, but I always loved the stainless steal look in color.
Just sand it down to bare metal and leave it outside. The rusted look is trendy. Just look at the VW guys.
That was the plan, Should have stated that from the start sorry.. My friend has done three cars and they look like professional paint jobs. I was hesitant until I watched him do a car and then remove the whole dip a few days later with no damage to the clear.... seem's legit but I still do not know.
That's what I was planning doing to mine as well. Oh we'll that just spoiled the surprise. I'd say have some fun with it and share it with us.
