So i just got my Invidia DP in last night and yeah um WOW it's crazy fast now. It just pulls and pulls and pulls, the gears seem to last no where near as long as they used to. I know some people like 6MTIZZLE were having trouble with their V3 dp mating up but mine went in like it was ment to be. I should have some pics up later here. The weather kinda sucks so i'm gonna wait for it to stop raining before i take any. But man i've eaten through a half a tank of gas today just driving around :)

Just wait till you get it tuned. If you are just using the cobb base map, there is alot of fuel that can be pulled out of it.

hearing that just makes me more excited for when I go stage 2, hopfully by the end of the summer.

Is it a bad idea to do just a dp without an AP?

No, it will be ok. The ecu will be able to adapt to the changes, but the ap helps optimize them. Say you pick up 10hp just by doing the dp, if you were to do the dp and ap you might pick up 20hp.

peak power, next to nothing. Power under the curve, a little bit but not a whole lot. Uppipes are more for spoolup then peak power.
