Just wanted to let everyone know we are now doing home theater as well as car audio. Some of the lines we carry are: JVC (TV's, Receivers, DVD Players, AWESOME Projectors, camcorders, etc...) Sherwood (Don't let the name fool you, they are NOT the same Sherwood as they were a few years ago...very nice stuff) Sherwood Newcastle (Receivers....HIGH END receivers, on par w/ Onkyo IMHO) Sanus (Wall Mounts, AV Furniture, etc..) Planet Waves (Custom Installation Accessories) ViewSonic (TV's, Monitors, Projectors, Tablet PC's, Digital Picture Frames, etc...) Xantech (Infrared Receivers, Repeaters, extenders, HDMI Switchers, HDTV Video distribution, Speakers, Amplifiers, etc....) Aspire (Wireless control systems including Controllers, Dimmers, Switches, Receptacles, etc..) Gefen (Extenders, Switching, Distributed Audio, Conversion, Scalers, Wireless, Cabling, Distribution Amplifiers, Remotes, etc..) Furman (Power conditioners) Infinity (Speakers...enough said, read the reviews, you will know why I am electing to sell them) Ethereal (Wiring, etc...) Vibe (An Ethereal brand of speakers.....sooooo nice sounding and a nice euro look to them) Nuvo (Speakers, distributed audio, amplifiers and more) DCM (Speakers...VERY good bang for the buck) Sonance (Speakers, amplifiers, distributed audio, accessories) Planar (Projectors) MTX (Distributed audio peripherals, Speakers) BOCS (A/V Distribution) StraightWire (accessories/wire) Wi-Ex (cell phone extenders) Terk (HD Antenaes, IR Repeaters, Distribution Hubs) TrippLite (UPS) Crosley (Televisions) Banyan (Televisions) Componex (Wiring) Nexus (Televisions/Monitors) Marantz (Speakers, Receivers) Harman Kardon (Receivers, speakers, etc..) Niles Audio (Speakers, distribution, etc..) MB Quart (Speakers, etc..) Peerless (TV mounts, etc..) Berkline (Furniture...home theater seating, etc..)
Never dealt with them, but I know who they are (one of my buddies used to work with them). I've heard some mixed results on the glue...like works good for a while, but loses adhesion after a couple years...again, just what I've heard I have no way of independently verifying this.
Im very interested in Home audio... can you post pics and prices of some things? I'm looking for a good HDMI receiver.
Sure...or at least here are a couple of links to look at http://www.sherwoodusa.com/ (Both Sherwood and Sherwood Newcastle are on this site...find one that has what you are looking for and I will get a price...) However I can tell you the lowest end receiver: Sherwood RX-4105 Remote Controlled Stereo Receiver with Phono Section. MSRP $149.95 I can sell for $120. And their highest end receiver: Sherwood Newcastle R-972 7.1 Channel A/V Surround Receiver with Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD. MSRP $1799.95 I can sell for $1250 That should give you an approximate idea of their price range.
I will have to look in to this, I will be looking for a receiver soon. I see you sell the products that I help design. (Sanus)
See....I support you by selling products you design, now you HAVE to support me as well by buying products that I sell (I think that's how it works anyway...lol)
You deal with RTI remotes? I need to get mine reprogrammed, but the shop that installed it wants $400 for the pleasure of fixing it.
May I ask who did it? The place I used to work for did lots of them. You can get the software and IR Learner on ebay and do it yourself.
The place that did the install is Stereoland, and they did an incredible job, I love the system and every part about it. I would still recommend them to anyone that asks. It's just a little frustrating that I can't make any changes to the programming, I had to rewire some of the components to take advantage of the full functionality, and that means reprogramming some of the buttons. I will see if I can find the software on eBay, I've been looking for about a year and a half now...
$850 delivered to Minneapolis area. I'm in Brooklyn Park every other week usually Monday thru Wednesday (will be there next week)
Bump! Anyone looking for home theater? or car audio? or security (home/car/other)? Also starting to dabble in performance parts. LMK what you are looking for and I'll see what I can find.
