I'm going to get my wheels powder coated this winter. I spoke with the guys at Twin City Powder Coat a month ago and told them about the Subie price of $220 for the set. They were a bit hesitant but I think they agreed to do it. So what's the best place to get my tires off and back on? I found a custom shop that will do it for about $80. Will I be able to find it cheaper anywhere else?

Call Jeff the Alignment Guy (search for his name on here for a phone number), he would probably be able to do it for less. His shop is on the north side of Bloomington.

When working in the motorcycle industry the best powder coater we found is Best Coat in Blaine off of 65 and 101st. Their work has been the best I have seen out of the local powder coaters in the metro. I have given them stuff to custom color match and they have been spot on 90% of the time on the 1st try and when we were not happy with it they re-stripped it and re-did it again at no charge.
