The cheap standard hose clamps suck so I went to NAPA and filled out with t-bolt and constant torque clamps to replace them all :D

Seriously, one of the hose clamps that holds my BOV to the intercooler has just not been holding at all, it keeps letting the BOV seperate from the IC. While this certainly make the noise the turbo generates a LOT more noticeable it pretty much eliminates any boost I'm making and probably is letting in unfiltered air right there next to the TB. I stopped at NAPA this weekend and ordered a bunch of various hose clamps for different parts of my engine. I had to get these odd "constant torque" clamps for the BOV since it was only a 1" ID clamp and they didn't have t-bolts that small. I just fitted it when I got home tonight and I don't think the BOV is going anywhere anymore.

The old rubber section that it holding it on probably needs to go in favor of something a little more flexible though so I need maybe a 2" section of 1" ID silicone-based hose. I'll need some 3" ID stuff sometime soon. The guys at NAPA said TNT Motorsports or something like that (over in Blaine) has this. The truck shops I called don't carry smaller diameters than 3". Or should I just order some online?

I used to think hose clamps were hose clamps until I bought some at Walmart. I stripped the screws as I hand-tightened them. Why not try the dealership? :)

i HATE those stock clamps. Some of them are such a pain in the arse to get to. I replaced many of them and have had no problems since.
