Kit includes compressor discharge pipe (blue silicone), 3rd cat pipe, Prodrive, oval tip muffler and Prodrive ECU re-flash. Great, mellow sound, no dead spots in torque curve all the way to fuel cut-off. See http://spdusa.com/engine1.htm.

Must sell; car was in frontal crash and will be scrapped. Make offer!

Would you be willing to part this out? I would like the muffler if at all possible.

    More details on the kit

This is as close to a factory upgrade as you can get. The kit is designed and manufactured in the U.K. by Prodrive, who design and build the Subaru World Rally winning cars. They are the only designer / manufacturer of upgrades that have a direct line to Subaru Engineering.

If you are considering this type of upgrade to your WRX, you owe it to yourself to read SPD's information page at the link above and this one: http://spdusa.com/stock_engine_mods.htm.

Many will have trouble with what Mike is saying there, because he debunks a lot of theories about this or that upgrade. IMO, he knows what he is talking about. I've spoken with him several times and his support of the products he sells is excellent. Also, he knows the guys at Prodrive's CA location.

The car is in Plymouth and I'll only have access to it for a couple more days. Send me a private message if you are interested.

ever thought about just taking the kit off and sell it later instead of letting insurance take it away if no one buys it on time?

I'm going to strip off the parts, probably tomorrow (Thursday). Trick is the code in the ECU (I've only got one ECU) but I'm working on that too, so I should have the entire kit (minus the muffler) by the weekend.

I'll post a pic or two so everyone can see how well Subies stand up to "sudden deceleration" without actually running a test yourself ;)

Was kind of interested in the entire set-up! Just have no idea what the value is to shoot you a number for the whole thing:dunno: Liked the article on the set-up, sounds like good gains with minimal risks to motor!!

Yup, the oval tip muffler is in my hatch right now. I keep telling myself that it will go on with the rest of the TBE sitting in the garage this coming spring -- but I'm guessing that spring will come sometime in December, hehehe.

    Thanks again!

The pleasure was all mine, guys. Enjoy your parts and hope you can hook up on the STI muffler. I may have to get another Subie so I have an excuse to hang with y'all here at mnsubaru :)
