I'm hoping one of our members can help me out in a jam. I know a lot of people have hookups in different areas, so I figured I'd try it out.

    Situation:
My friend is getting married up there. I had a spot at a cabin to stay for me and the wife, but now my college roommate and his gf are flying out from seattle for the wedding. I'm pretty positive there's no space in the cabin for 2 more, so it's hotel time. I was just a bit shocked at how much they charge up there on the weekend. I can understand dropping between $80 and $140, but $200 is a bit of a buttraping if i've ever seen it for duluth.

Date: Saturday July 25th, we would leave the 26
    2 rooms, 4 adults total.

Please PM me if you have a hook up.

    Thanks in advance,

    Ryan

Hawthorne Suites is actually pretty reasonable. Last time I checked it was under $200 for a baller room with two bedrooms (one with a king, other with two fulls), kitchen, two bathrooms, etc.

    Hell no for 200:laugh:

Last time I stayed at one of the canal park hotels last year it was only 110 for a super nice room with a lake view (in the summer). You need to haggle on the price.

There are several hotels in Superior including two Best Westerns. I'd try there and see if the rates are better. Other than that there is an AmericInn in Duluth that is usually quite reasonable.

i might even look at the places on spirit MTN @ the top. I doubt that they have high rates in the off season. There isn't much going on there and it is out of downtown so i might be cheaper.
