somehow something is wrong with my 98 2.5RS alarm, it won't beep as loud as it did anymore, all you hear and see is the lights flashing to mean that it's locked or unlock

has anyone ever had this problem? it's only a stock subaru alarm, battery seems fine, i'm not sure about the wireing...need some help

theres an option to turn the beep off and on. I believe its hold both buttons down for 3 seconds.

You could try running a power source to the siren to see if its working. Than check the wire to see if its conducting properly.

what do you mean by that? like using a digital multi meter?...i'll and Gspot i'll try that tomorrow

before the alarm was working good, until one day i left the trunk open but then the trunk don't have a light so the car doesn't know that the trunk is open and it won't drain the battery, but then fromt hat day on the alarm will work after i park it over night, and after i drive it and park it, the alarm would be weak, it makes a sound of a duck, hahaha seriously, and then now all you hear/see is the lights flashing

You could use any good meters or a test light. If thats the case you may want to double check the ground wire of your siren, and make a new one as needed. If the wiring is good you may want to add another siren just for an added security. ;)
