Nothing bad happened in Blaine, but around 8pm, the clouds looked like they were painted. I was catching the movie, "Mean Girls" (not pron ) with my GF.

I'll have to wait till there's more light to inspect my car... I almost had a heart attach. My poor car was out in the drive way when it hailed in BC... It was blocked in the front and rear so I couldn't put the car into my uncle's garage... dagnabit!

I wasd driving back with my family from Sandstone (seeing my Grandma for her birthday and Mother's day) and holy **** did it rain hard!

I couldn't see more than 25 yards and that was just the taillights infront of me.

There was some hail too, and an awesome display of lightning.

But once we get close to the cities it was barely going (White Bear).

There were some serious winds up by us, though the last storm knocked down most anything that could have gone so we didn't have any more trees down up here. Lots of rain, just a little bit of pea-sized hail. The first bits of thunder that came through caught me by surprise though. I was playing a game where there was thunder and lightning and then suddenly the whole room shook and it confused me for a second. Boy was that loud when it first rolled through. Rattled every window in the house.

the wind blew really hard out here in Orono, but didn't knock anything down, and it rained it's a$$ off for about 20 minutes, and that was about it. I put a bag over the steering knuckle on the GL, but the wind blew it off before it even started raining :(!

man.....Lee and I were out fishing at Cannon falls. We were at the edge of the storm, north a little dark, and south a little sunny. Coming home at a little over 6 we saw some rain drops. Then a few minutes RAIN RAIN RAIN. Then to St. Paul going north on 52 it stopped and we saw the nice somewhat lit horizon. Got into Frog Town and saw nice size trees down. All the cars lights were white/blue because of yellowish sky.:D

Got homw and our power is out. Found out that a branch 8-10 inch in diameter fell and hit our power line. My father said massive sparks where shooting like fireworks. No one was allowed to go back there.

Power will be back on when Excel people come fix it, until then, we're powerless.

I got to work and I noticed a few trees blew over. My technician said that a 16 ton refrigerant storage for our building's A/C was blown off it's stand on the roof.

I was hit by a "Gustado" is what they called it. 70+ MPH winds and I looked out of my 24 story window and saw debris the size of car doors flying around. On the weather they showed the path of the "gustado" and it went right over my block. I went out later and there was debris everywhere, a park bench and table all twisted in the street, a light pole on a car in the parking lot...it was CRAZY! Then I went over to the St. Thomas (St. Paul campus) neighborhood and saw a huge elm tree broken in someone's front yard; it fell sideways so it didn't hit anything but just fell across the front yard. It looked like it got hit by lightening. Man, I was scared for a minute there. I took my girls into the bathroom in case our windows broke.
