I am rebuilding my motor and was wondering what boost range would be safe to run on the 2.5l block ? For other mods I have
    Turbo xs utec
    invidia divorced down pipe
    3" catback
    deasch werks 750cc injectors
    perrin fuel rails
    perrin short ram intake
    perrin front mount
    perrin boost controller
    fp green turbo

and alot of other stuff , I am just trying to figure out if I should go with forged internals or not! If I can get away with out them safely I will ! My budget is tight !

I assume this is on an EJ257? if so I have made 500whp on stock crank and rods. I did replace the pistons in these cars for a better quality piston as the stock ones are prone to ring land failure.

As for boost anything after 27 psi is getting close to the limit.

Not if it is a 257. However if the block you're referring to is the high-CR 2.5 from the NA models then you're going to want new internals to lower the CR for more boost. Otherwise if you're leaving the internals on the 10:1 block alone then I wouldn't go beyond .5 bar.
