Wow, nice to know that I just happened upon the right agent :D

My premiums are $528, or about $88 monthly, for a $0 comp deductable and $250 collision with glass, rental, all the rest. I was surprised that my insurance only went up a few dollars a month from my 99 RS to my 05 LGT, but then all the aftermarket goodies on my RS were also covered under my insurance so perhaps that made a difference.

This is with American Family. My parents have been with this same agent for over 25 years and I've been with him since I got my first first Impreza. That and the home policy I have with them are what make it so low I think. Plus my old claims must be dropping off about now, I haven't had one since my RS was broken in to back in fall 2001.

    $53 a month for 100/300/100 with $500 deduct ($0 glass deduct) @ Progressive.

But that's because I've got a 9-2x. I did a comparo a few months back again a 2005 WRX Wagon, and the WRX was at least $25 a month more.

What wierd is that my wife's 01 ZX3 and my 01 Dakota both cost more for insurance. And my Dakota is even listed as a pleasure vehicle. Doesn't make any sense to me

If you want to know who is the cheapest, you'll have to pick up the phone and call a bunch of places. The rates that other people pay are not necessarily going to be any reliable indication of who will provide the best rate for you. It will be largely dependent on your location, age, accident/claim history....all of which will be different from the people that have shared their information here.
