with 500 lb/in coilovers...and very hard driving :run:

    stock XT6 rear sway bar....so 16-17mm I beleive

    would 175lbs hold it?

ok.....here's the deal, my trailing arms (from a N/A 4x4 car) don't have sway bar mounts, and I don't want to put new trailing arms on it (more importantly, I don't want to remove trailing arms in a junkyard!!). so would these beefy 175lb zip ties hold?? or would they fail miserably....

dangit!! you're not helping. it's not just a matter of welding, there would have to be some substantial fabricating aswell....

I'm gonna try it....maybe I'll add a hose clamp or 2 to help...

    ^ ooohh geezz.....

this will be interesting. those are some beefy zip ties. my question is how are the zip ties gonna keep the end links in place? granted they wont fall off but wont they moved up and downt eh later links making handling change every corner?

get it on video when you try it. you might wana use some of those metal zip ties.

I'm guessing the zip tie will fail. But I'd love to see you prove me wrong.

keep in mind, this is an EA82 car. completely different suspension design. so it doesn't actually have an endlink, the bar is actually just bolted onto the trailing arm.

whatever...I'm gonna try it and see.
