How much is this SVX worth?

I am trying to help a friend determine the private party value of his '96 SVX. Here's the deal:

-'96 SVX (duh)
-Exc condition, no rust!
-68k miles
-Auto
-New tires
-New brakes
-Suede leather interior
-Black ext/Beige int

That's pretty low mileage for a 96. If everything works and the tranny and wheel bearings are in good shape, you should be able to get a premium for it.

 

I can look up the auction value of it if I have the full VIN # (I work for a dealership). That number won't be the same as private party but it gives you a jumping off point. I also did a 5-state search (it's a painfully slow day at work) and there are about seventeen 92' to 97' SVX's ranging from $3,995 to $12,800 that will be it's competition. Depending on the condition of it a 96' will probably land in the $5,500 to $8,500. I can look up it's Carfax for free as well if he doesn't know it's history. Hope that helps.
