OMG, wide wheels with meaty tires and properly installed fender flares to fit said tires? Yeah, THIS is what sexy looks like. Take notes, stance tards

I really hope this is the new trend. I hope this eventually shames stancetards out of the car world and off to being attention whoring scene tards somewhere else

There are plenty of GR WRXs out there with 265-295 width tires. Those wonderful flares will hold an awful lot of tire. Stock sizes are either 235 or 245 depending on WRX vs STI.

Nice. And even his new wheels don't have stretched-homo-butthole tires on them.

How wide are the tires in the first post? They don't look that crazy. 275? 285? I think the aftermarket flares + super low offset (that makes the tire stick out way past the OEM body panels) makes them look wider.

Yeah, for the new body style it's pretty standard to see 18x9.5" +38 with 265/35R18 tires. Fits with no fender work on stock suspension and needs a minor roll in the rear if you're lowered. Andy has 275's on his without any crazy fender mods.

As for older Subaru's with aftermarket flares, I love how this one looks. 18×11 +20 wheels with 315/30R18 tires. Too bad it's only Stage 2.

Thanks. That sounds about right judging by how wide the tires actually look from the rear. 18x10.5 +10 makes them stick out way past the OEM body work so they look much wider from an angle. Powerband looks pretty good too!

Besides getting wheels / tires involved with the wider stance.

What kind of body work would be the cost of something like that?

Some may say as far as cutting the fenders to clear the wider wheels and tires; unless your car is high enough to clear under the stock fender.

Hmm let me rephrase then, what kind of body work and cost would be needed to do it all. I'm liking it a lot to where I would like to invest in doing it possibly. And temporarily getting spacers to fill the wheels afterwords...

Side note my friend from WI has his flares and is rebarreling his SSR MS3 to 18x11.5 +10ish with 295s. Pick here is 18x10 +23 spaced to -6 or something. He pushes ~430whp on a gt30r setup

It's ok I shouldn't judge every Subaru by it's tire size, just as others shouldn't judge a Prius because it's a hybrid lol

    Impossibru!

Harder than diamonds, we're talking about JB here. I could drill to China with that kind of boner.

Also, these cars are proper stance.

subaru and prodrive need to team up again and rock a WRC wide body on the new sedan. i doubt it will look better than the hawk eye, but its worth a few million of their $$ to try..lol

If that STI had blacked out head lights, it'll look even better.
