hey guys, i just had Clark make me a basemap for my sti, and he was wondering what the short and long tern air fuel corrections were. also if the knock correction is positive my question is... how do i do this untill i get my wideband? also he said you can do it with logging software or a scan tool? what kind of scan tool will do this? i have access to all subaru dealership tools Matt
You can log AF Correction and KC with a tactrix cable and ECULogger or Enginuity logger. It plugs into the ODBII port on the bottom of the dash of your car. Not sure the car requirements, but I do know that it works on any 2001+ WRX or STI.
Any obd-II scan tool will be able to show short/long term fuel trims. I would guess that the select monitor would also be able to show knock correction, but I haven't had a chance to play with one of those yet. But the fuel trims are std obd-II values, so if you have any kinda of scan tool (tari logger) and a cable (ap cable) you can watch those. Russ
ok i have tari racing (open ecu) data logging software on the laptop, i can get all my data but how do you save it? or capture it
ok i got it to work.... how should i drive the car when im data logging? very slow or should i get into the gas and hit boost?
yes a select monitor will show knock correction, it will also show injector duty cycle, and some AFRs
Well, if you want to log fuel trims, you want to drive just normal. Once the ecu cross's over, the fuel trim info won't do you much good. I am guessing that Clark wants to see your fuel trims so he can tell how far off your maf table is. Russ
