I was just wondering if anyone else has ever noticed slight grinding/rubbing noises when you turn your fans on? Mine had always kinda done it a little on start up so i didn't think anything of it but it is getting louder and more frequent
yeah, I think I know what you're talking about. I had something similar, it wasn't very loud, but you could hear it. I ended up taking the blower fan out of my car and there were a few leaves that had made it down there. I cleaned it all out and washed all the dust off of the fan and oiled the bushings on the motor and it runs much quieter now. It's also possible the bushings are wearing out. It's easy to get the blower motor out so it's worth checking.
I dont get a noise like that... I have a noise that when i turn i can hear a bolt or nut roll from the drivers side to the passenger side...
