If you will be traveling on Hwy 5 the Eden Prairie PD has about 9 speed traps set up, there's also one on Mitchell rd. -Chris
No they didn't catch me}... actually I was doing like 45 because there were so many cops, my guess is that they were just trying to get their tickets in before people slow down for the snow.
Man, I NEVER speed there (anymore).. always cops around, I have received one ticket there unfortunately :-( Since the police station is right on 5, they like to sit there, don't want to put themselves out and go more than 1 mile from the "office" (sigh) Maybe there's also a really good donut shop there too if they need a "break" from that *really tough* traffic enforcement work out in EP. Am I the only one that goes faster when it snows? :-p Oh, do you live in the area? I'm up on 62 by 101.
The krispy kreme doughnut place is right there. How could they not want to sit and feast on the amount of speeders through there. Its perfect though cause you get alot of frustrated drivers offof 494 who want to speed up and get home or trying to take an alternout route.
