...on a 2010 Forester X Premium this morning. I found one that has the things I like (all weather package, premium, etc. ) , is the pearl white (forgot formal name...) and has about 52k on it. Should I go with it? Keep looking? Save more and buy new? We yes friend an XV as well, thinking that was more what I wanted, but in fact it fit for my fiancé much better and she enjoyed it more than me. I liked it plenty too, but the forester felt like a better fit. Anything pro or con I should ask about, or look into before deciding? It is from a Subaru dealer in town (not private seller). Sorry for the vagueness, and thanks for any input!
I prefer the looks of the '10 over the current gen (as long as you change out the grille) and personally I would rather have the old 4-speed automatic than the CVT in the new ones (I am assuming this is for your girlfriend and she wants an auto).
I am feeling the same way. It will actually be for both. I am interested in retiring the WRX as a daily driver, and we would like something that we can both drive ( while she has the ability to drive a manual, she prefers not to).
If you want to haul stuff, the Outback is a much better choice for cargo room. Plus it would have a 5-speed auto.
we have a 09 forester x w/4eat and the both of us loved it. but i think its a littler under power for me, but it is for my wife. i myself drives a 02 wrx. like i told my co-worker, if you going to get one, get the xt or the outback 3.6r, more power and tq to haul stuff. hope that help.
