...so I can start at my new position! I'm so happy! I had been fighting for this job for over 2 weeks and those 2 weeks has finally paid off. I am leaving my "Receiving Expediter" position to an internal department as a "Policy Forms Technician." I'm getting a small pay increase, but I'm in it to win it with a new title and a fresh work area. I'll be proofreading and setting up policy forms for clients of our company, so it'll be a great job to have on my resume if I ever want to work for another insurance company. ...maybe Pete's company. ;)

If you are assembling the policies don't read them or you will develop a problem of sleeping on the job. All that legal jargon makes me vomit in my mouth a little ;) Congrats and best of luck!!!!!

Thanks, fellas! :D Martin, I won't have a corner office, but I can get a view of downtown St. Paul from the 8th floor just from around the corner of my office. Lue, I'll treat you out to eat if you drop me off and pick me up from work everyday. Parking fees are gonna be a little spendy. The charges could cost up to $10 a day!!! :(

The price of working downtown....plus if you don't bring your lunch you are looking at close to 20 a day for lunch and parking  I don't miss the days of working in downtown Minneapolis!

you can sign monthly contracts at the ramps. then you can set up a pre-tax transportation account through your employer. this way you are paying for the parking on a pre-tax basis. example, if you have to pay $100/month for a downtown ramp and you use pre-tax dollars, your paycheck will only decrease by $72, if you are in the 28% tax bracket.
