I could use some prayers

Maybe you could all say a little one for my engine (aka: my heart) as I go in for heart surgery on thursday. It is not open heart, it is all laproscopic (through the viens) so it is a major surgery since it is my heart but not a major procedure.

As some of you may remember last July I posted up how my bachlor party put me in the hospital with atrialflutter. Well that happened to me again on my birthday in December. So I decieded to get it fixed so I don't have to worry about it as much/ anymore. Below is a link to the thread I started last July which has more info in it. If you have questions feel free to ask and I will answer them if I can, if not MRS.02blubru (beth) will do so.

Good luck man! My son had heart surgery at 5 months old, its incredible what they can do these days. Im sure you will be just fine.

Good luck. I must be getting old... I think I know more people with heart problems than with out.

You will definitely be in my prayers.... your inner thigh will not be happy... i think my mum had one of those before I got over there htis last trip.. and 3 weeks later her thigh was still black and blue...

 

Well if this goes as planed, a party will be okay for me. That is why I am doing it so I don't have to worry anymore. Obviously I am not going to go crazy like at my bach party but I will still enjoy a few here and there.

As for you second statement... you really know how to put a guy at ease... lol

Well, I am home and everything went well. I am soar where they cut me to do the work but other then that I am fine. It was successfull and they give me a 90% of not haveing the atrial flutter happen again.

Thanks for the concern guys. It is great to be getting back to full speed now. My right leg still hurts and is very brused but I still manage..

 

Well things did not go as planned. I am posting this from abott northwestern hospital. I went into an irregular rhythem while I was driving down 35w, got light headed and had difficulty breathing for about 5 seconds. So I drove from just north of 694 on 35 to abbot which is at lake st and 35w. (beth was not thrilled). So, I am in till friday at the soonest. They are going to be pumping some meds through me and seeing how I respond to them and we will go from there. I will posibly have to have another ablation in the near future. Just thought I would give everyone an update...If your bored- cuz I know I will be.. 612-775-3042 is the phone in my room.

 

I know two people that have had the same condition and operation. Both have never had any complications since. Sorry to hear you're back in again.

So, is this time covered under warranty?
