Hello MNSubaru! (.com) Josh S here checking in. I realized that I probably haven't posted on this forum for a few years (since LSE Performance) and there are many members that have no clue who I am (not that it matters, haha). Well I am back and in the market for a daily driver/fun project/auto-x car. Being cheap, and on a limited budget, I am still trying to source that perfect chassis (or high mileage vehicle that barely runs) to start with. I've looked at Neon's, Civic's, and many many others, but keep coming back to Subaru's. I am looking at the 1g Imprezza chassis as a fun but economical platform to start as a driver and end up being a money pit, much like my last project (stealth) was. I will make a "WTB" thread once I know my official budget, come-on tax paperwork! FYI, I am still tuning, mostly for hire or for barter, and work with one local shop as their "outsourced tuning solution" occasionally. Most of it is Standalone work, but still get in the piggyback stuff. Mostly now I just tune for mod money and love getting involved in cool stuff. So, to those of you that don't know me: Hi, I am the new guy w/o a Subaru. To those that know me and hate me: Hi, I am back, can we be friends? Sorry if you didn't like me before, but that was probably 2-4 years ago and I was trying to run a shop. To those of you that know me and liked me: Hello again! -Josh S Savage, MN
We will call it noob as I had maybe 200 posts as LSE. Yes that money pit was mine. 720awhp, 11.4@135mph, what a joke. Fun car, but should have put better tires on it and concentrated on suspension instead of gobs of power. I plan on sticking around awhile this time, and probably lending some technical expertise. While I am not nearly the Subaru expert that many on here are, I have wrenched on a dozen or so and tuned around that many in various forms, maybe more.
Wow im havent talked seen you since you tuned the VF28 on my bugeye back at LSE (WHAT A JOKE THAT CAR WAS) good to see your back... Welcome Again
