http://www.roushperformance.com/mustang_st3.shtml It had 160 miles on it and it ripped. I have some pics on my sister's camera that i'll post up in here later maybe. Pull from 20-80 was really smooth. I would have to say $50k+ would buy me a kickin sti instead, but it was a pretty nice ride nonetheless.
Well, "good deal" is not what I would've used to describe that kit. More like outrageously expensive. Still, about what I would expect.
still a mustang... sorry.. but I work on them all day.. granted not the Roush version, but like I tell my boss... you can polish a turd all you want it is STILL a turd
You want to talk about polished turds, look at the V6 kit http://www.roushperformance.com/mustang_v6.shtml for $5100 you get a hood scoop, a spoiler and some 18" rims, the real performance part you get is a set of springs. And yes Chet I understand a good blower will cost money :eek4: I was merely being facetious
I can haz sarcasm? Lol not saying anything other than my experience of driving an overpriced American muscle car. (which was a nice car). But it damn well better be with that kind of pricetag. I really don't see where they can justify charging 21000 to squeeze 400bhp out of a v8. Either way I don't think I can pass up a chance to drive any performance car balls out without having to worry about the consequences.
If it's built on the base GT, that's only an increase of 100bhp to the tune of $210 per horsepower. An accessPort is roughly $20 per horsepower, and therefore Cobb is 11 times as cool as Rousch. My logic, it is flawless.
id rather buy the gt and then a twin turbo kit.... way more fun. i keep thinking about a twin turbo v6, v8, or v10 project but then i saw a friends supercharged mustang out the other night when we were having some fun and it was absolutely hopeless for traction. lining up against cars with half the power and getting smoked.
