So I was doing some last minute, well i guess not quite last minute, but i was doing some christmas shopping at Eden Prairie mall this morning picking up some things for my sister and mother. I get there about 11:30 and park in the lower level of the Von Maur ramp. As i get out i hear what sounded to my well tuned ear like a boxer rumble! So I look around and comin down into the lot is an STi (i guess this could go in the spotted section). Since im new to subaru and dont know many people in the community i waited for him to park so i could compliment his car. We start chatting as we walk inside and eventually the topic of mnsubaru.com comes up. He said he goes on there sometimes to look for specific info or to check the classified. Then he comes to mention that even though he cruises this site that he is banned?!?!(how does that work?) So obviously i ask him what his tagname is and he said it was Shorthrow? I remembered that name from the thread i started about people being banned so i thought i would bring it up here. He said he was banned for some confusing things but he said he understood why he was banned. Anyways he seemed like a really nice and decent guy and only had good things to say about this site for the most part. Haha he asked for me to tell you guys to give him a second chance lol. Anyways we also talked about mods, he said he would help me with my exhaust if i wanted and he gave me his number and he also said he has alot of stuff waiting to go in on his car. He also mentioned something about a meet called firestone? whats that all about? Anywyas i thought you all would find it interesting that i ran across a banned member! lol
firestone is where we meet nearly every friday and sat regardless of weather, its the firestone off university by snelling
yeah, its alot of fun. its 2 blocks west of snelling on university. normaly there will be about 10ppl there. but some nights (especaily int eh summer or w/ fresh snow) we will fill it to capacity. anyway i think his bannedness mught have something to do with a scam.
Shortthrow was banned for threatining to bring a hand gun to Firestone plus a couple of other issues. He will be sent an email six months advising him that he can come back. This is of course, is if he does not continue to sign in as a different user.

I think short throw is a guy (like the little image redymix has posted a few times) one of those people that in person, is really nice, and normal. but online, has some sort of tough guy ego complex, and is a total jerk!
