probably 3mm ceramic or titanium or something.. not sure what they use now... rotors are about as finicky as any other motor UNLESS it is built properly... my last rotor had over 7 yrs on teh engine and it was constantly abused and Guarantee it would have walked about 75% of the cars on this site... and it was a 1.2 turbo... but I had friends who blew motors...
