I know the chances are slim to none, but I need just one RE070 tire 225/45/17. It has to be fairly new because the one's I own now have 3k on them and one has a plug hence the reason I need just one. Anybody out there?

Yeah I have an extra one w/same mileage. But the reason I have it is because it has a plug in it.;)

Just take the plugged one, and have an internal patch installed.
couple of guys i know who RR on street tires do this when they pick up a nail... and haven't had any problems with it yet. and they've taken the tire off a few times to check the patch.

Internal patches FTW. Just make sure you scuff the inside of the tire with a wire wheel or somethign similar.

I've had good luck with the brown plugs tho. If you're worried, go to WalMart or any auto parts store. Get the brown plugs, plug tire, trim to half an inch protruding from the tire, rotate tire so plug is on top, and light the plug on fire with a lighter or torch or whatever. Let plug burn until it goes out. Let dry/cool, and drive away.
    Self-vulcanizing I believe they're called.
